Strength, Protection, and Beauty

A dental crown is a personalized restoration that covers and strengthens a compromised tooth, matching the look of your smile. Crowns are ideal for teeth affected by decay, large fillings, cracks, or root canal procedures. Designed with durability and comfort in mind, they restore full use of the tooth. Proper care helps them last for years to come.

What Dental Crowns Offer Your Teeth

  • Reinforced protection – Supports teeth that need added strength
  • Tooth-colored appearance – Blends naturally with surrounding teeth
  • Long-lasting design – Built for extended protection
  • Versatile results – Improves chewing and appearance together
  • Comfortable fit – Custom-crafted for a natural feel

All About Dental Crowns

What occurs during the crown treatment process?

We numb the area first, then carefully reshape the tooth to prepare it for the crown. A scan or impression is taken so your crown can be custom-made. You’ll receive a temporary crown while the lab completes the final one. At your second visit, we secure the permanent crown and ensure a comfortable fit.

Why should dental crowns be considered?

Dental crowns help prevent weakened teeth from cracking, restore proper chewing, and enhance the look of damaged teeth, making them a well-rounded restorative option.

What is the expected lifespan of a crown?

Many crowns last 10–15 years or more when cared for properly. Limiting habits such as biting hard objects can help extend their life.

Please call if you notice:

  • A large filling or broken tooth
  • Cracks or wear on a tooth
  • Extensive decay
  • A tooth treated with a root canal
  • A desire to enhance tooth appearance

Technology that elevates the quality of your exam

We select premium materials, including porcelain and zirconia, and use digital scans to achieve detailed, natural-looking restorations.

FAQ

Curious About Your Care? You’re in the Right Place

Will people be able to tell I have a crown?
Yes. We carefully coordinate the color and shape to blend with your existing teeth.
Usually, crown treatment is completed in two appointments: one for preparation and one for placement, though same-day crowns may be offered when appropriate.
No. We use anesthetic and a careful technique to maintain comfort throughout.
In general, crowns work for most teeth, depending on their condition and your oral health.
Crowns stay healthy with the same habits as natural teeth—brush, floss, and see us regularly.
